Dr. Enbang Li is currently an academic staff member of School of Physics, Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences, University of Wollongong, Australia. Since 1984, he has been teaching and doing research in optics, electronics and photonics, working especially in laser diagnostics, optical measurements, fiber-optic sensing and non-linear photonics. So far he has authored and co-authored more than 200 technical publications (including one paper published in Nature Photonics, one in Nature Communications, and one in Scientific Reports) with more than 1200 SCI citations and an H-index of 19. He also has 35 granted patents, all on fiber–optic or optical devices and instruments. He has extensive experiences in optics and photonics especially fiber optics. He used to work at Tianjin University as a professor, at Sydney University as CUDOS Lab Manager and, at JDS Uniphase as a senior engineer.
报告简介:
Photonic topological insulators support unidirectional protected modes and enable light to flow around imperfections with perfect transmission. Generating non-reciprocal phases in photonic systems is vital in realizing photonic topological insulation. In this talk, methodologies and techniques for experimentally generating non-reciprocal phases will be discussed.
